"Noche de paz, noche de amor" es el villancico más famoso del Mundo: su nombre original en alemán es "Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht"; su musica fue compuesta por el maestro de escuela y organista Franz Xaver Gruber y su letra escrita por el sacerdote Joseph Mohr

Fué interpretado por primera vez el 24 de diciembre de 1818 en la iglesia de San Nicolás de OberndorfAustria.
